Donuts and Flowers

The kids and I are sitting on the couch finishing our movie and David blurts out, "Mom! Dad and I bought donuts for dessert. Oh, and Dad bought you flowers. Oops... was I supposed to say that?"

I noticed that David's supply of underwear had dwindled. It seems that hiding the CLEAN pair under the bed has been the logical thing to do. I asked him about it today. His totally enthusiastic and proud of himself response? "Mom! Do you know how long I've had this pair of underwear on? 2 days!" Wow.

He will be taking everything out from underneath his bed when he returns home from school today. I fear it's going to be a scientific type of day.

In The Beginning...

So many have suggested I write a book called "Davidisms". That seems to be something way beyond me. I have decided that I would begin a blog with the aforesaid title. It will be a great way for me to record my son's sayings and see where it goes from there.....
